What skip size do you need? Find out in minutes.

Whether you are clearing out the garage or clearing a block of unused buildings to make room for new ones, one of the questions you will be faced with is – what size skip will you need?
It is common to be unsure, you don’t want to hire a skip that is too small; but again, you don’t want to hire a skip that is too big.

So, how do we go about finding you the right skip size?
Well first off you get skips that range from humble 2 yards through to heavy duty roll on roll offs. You can also get skips that are suited for different types of waste including skips for bulky, household and even hazardous waste.

We also know that it’s not uncommon for the public to throw their rubbish and prohibited waste into your skips that is why we also offer lockable containers. These are available upon request.
But as you came looking for, please see our skip sizes guide below:

2 Yard Skips

These skips are suited for the smallest of DIY jobs. This could be anything from clearing out a small garden to renovating a small room.
These skips are also referred to as mini skips, and are our much recommended skips for average domestic waste requirements.

This size skip holds around 2 tonnes of waste which is equivalent to 20 bin bags. Another perspective is it can carry as much as 6 and a half wheelie bins.
